What is the process for our window cleaning?

Our window cleaning process begins with the removal and cleaning of screens, which are then left to dry while we proceed with the cleaning. Weather permitting, we start with the exterior, following this order:

1. All screens.

2. Exterior window frame and trim (as needed).

3. Exterior glass, including screened-in patios and sliding glass doors.

4. Interior glass, trim, and sills.

Do you repair windows that do not function correctly?

For double-hung windows, we inspect components like the jamb liner, sills, check liner, and rails. In some cases, we can reset a sash into the jamb liner to restore function, provided the clock spring inside the jamb liner is functioning correctly. However, if parts are needed for repair, we may need to order them from the manufacturer.

My glass looks like there is something between the panes, what is that?

A foggy or white appearance between window panes is often caused by a faulty seal due to structural pressure. Unfortunately, this requires the window to be replaced to rectify the issue.

Who does the work?

Currently, I handle all window cleaning services. While I intend to hire additional staff in the future, rest assured that I will personally oversee your project. I prefer to meet clients face-to-face during the estimation process.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept payment via cash, Venmo, Zelle, checks, or cards (with a 2.89% processing fee). Remote payment and service requests are also accommodated, provided access to water and the interior of the home is available.

When do I pay?

Most clients pay on the day of service. However, we also accept net 30 payments from businesses and property groups, as well as vendor agreements or sub contractor agreements for commercial work and new construction.

What is your service radius?

While I am based in Clyde, Haywood County, I serve a 1-hour travel radius, covering areas including Yancey, Madison, Buncombe, Haywood, Swain, and Macon counties.

What tools do you use?

Our equipment includes a 3-stage water purification unit, a water-fed pole for exterior work, screen cleaning tools, squeegees, razors, abrasives, vinegar (for hard water stains), eco-friendly soap, and ladders.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare?

Generally, no preparation is needed. However, temporarily removing personal effects or decorations from windows can help facilitate the cleaning process. We handle the relocation of furniture if necessary.

What about pets?

We prioritize pet safety and accommodate their presence during our services. It's common for us to move inside and outside frequently during cleaning, but we're always mindful of pets and take precautions accordingly.

Weather cancellation policy

We may reschedule appointments if the weather conditions are unsuitable for exterior work. Additionally, temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit render exterior cleaning impractical.

Customer rescheduling

We understand that scheduling conflicts may arise and offer flexibility for rescheduling. We appreciate at least 2 days' notice for rescheduling requests, as it allows us to adjust our calendar accordingly.
